Summer afternoons, sunny evenings, a cold drink in hand and a table full of food to pick at… sounds pretty good to us.
Our brand-new Booze & Bites menu has landed at The Boars Head, bringing together tasty small plates, sharers and summery drinks for those occasions when you don't necessarily fancy a full meal – but you definitely fancy something.
Pick a Few, Share the Lot
The idea is simple: grab some friends, order a selection for the table and get stuck in.
Our new bites include Tempura King Prawns with sweet chilli, Chorizo & Feta Cheese Salad with hot honey, Corn Ribs with cowboy butter sauce and Prosciutto Welsh Rarebit.
Then there are the proper crowd-pleasers.
Think Loaded Fries topped with BBQ pulled pork, melted cheese and smoky BBQ drizzle, Signature Nachos, Mac n Cheese, Garlic Bread, hand-cut chips, olives & feta and more.
And sharing pays off – buy three bites and we'll give you the cheapest one FREE.
Now for the Booze…
It wouldn't be Booze & Bites without something good to wash it all down with.
We've put together a drinks selection that's made for summer, with plenty of spritzes and cocktails to work your way through.
There's a Limoncello Spritz, Hugo Spritz, Aperol Spritz and Raspberry Fizz, alongside cocktail favourites including the Passionfruit Martini, Espresso Martini, Raspberry Bellini, Negroni and Blue Lagoon.
Can't decide which one?
That sounds like a good excuse to have two.
Our selected cocktails are 2 for £15 from 3pm–7pm.

Booze & Bites is all about keeping things relaxed.
Pop in for a drink and order a couple of plates. Meet your friends for cocktails and end up sharing Loaded Fries. Or get a table full of different dishes and make an evening of it.
No rules. No need for three courses. Just good food, good drinks and hopefully a bit of sunshine thrown in too.
